News from China Kingho Ningxia Group (Liang Long) May 12 marks the fifth national “Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day”. In order to raise the awareness of disaster prevention and reduction and enhance the ability to handle the emergency and avoid risks, Ningxia Group held a drill of disaster prevention and reduction and emergency safe escape. Sun Yongzhi and Liu Zhenglu, both serving as deputy manager of the property management company; Zhang Jianwen, director of Enterprise Management Office of the Development Planning Department; Hou Huiling office director of the Methanol Company, and partial staff nearly 300 persons jointed this event. This drill is hosted by the general director Sun Yongzhi.
Before the drill, Liu Zhenglu read out A Notice of the Event on Disaster Prevention and Reduction and Safety Inspection and Rectification from China Kingho Ningxia Group. Sun Yongzhi announced the beginning of the drill at 2:30 pm. Following the specified escape route, the participators evacuated to the safety zone in a fast, orderly and smooth way and lined up. After that, the emergency response team rushed to each floor to search and rescue the trapped persons. When they took these trapped persons to the safety zone, all staff burst into cheers. The whole process was going on an intense but in an orderly manner, and it took 2 minutes and 15 seconds. By the end of the drill, Sun Yongzhi summed up for the earthquake escape safety drill and high appreciated all of the participators.
The successful escape safety drill strengthened the reality sense of the preset scene, made drills more feasible and achieved the intended results.
